First Edition. 1961 1st edition with numerous colour and B&W illustrations; tightly bound in terracotta cloth with gilt lettering on brown background to spine. Dust jacket price-clipped with marks on inside surface where sellotape has reinforced top edge around spine; a little wear and tear to corners and around spine top and base; slight discolouration to white areas. Page fore-edges yellowed. Internally, small sellotape marks on endpapers (perhaps from an old film covering); faint yellowing to edges of initial pages. Otherwise, a clean, tidy copy. Used - Very Good. VG hardback in Good dust jacket.
