Stapled wraps. Very good with lightly bumped, chipped and yellow edges. Covers faintly soiled, with a short closed tear in fore and top edge of rear cover. Spine yellow and creased, with small pieces missing from ends. Former owner's inscription in ink on title page. Pages lightly yellow with a few creased corners and short tears, and a bump to corners of text block affecting first few pages. 4to.

A very good copy overall, cloth rubbed at fore-tips and at ends of back strip, and with two corners bumped; hinges and binding solid; paper clean and light to moderately yellowed.

A very nice looking early (Over 100 years old) map showing peaks, RR's, streams & rivers, roads, houses, paths, Great Gulf, etc. in all of the Grants, Purchase's, & Towns in that small area in Northern New Hampshire. Colored in black line, light red and blue. Size: Elephant Folio - 16" Wide, 20" Tall. Book.

There is a previous owner's name in pen on the top edge of the front cover, and there are a handful of closed tears in the edges of the covers. The pages are tanned, and the last page is heavily darkened. With the map in the rear pocket. Subjects include Landslides and Landslide Topography and Records of Extinct Glaciers.
