No Binding. Etat : Very Good. Carlo Pellegrini "Ape". (illustrateur). 1st Edition. This 1875 caricature of John E. Cornwallis Rous 2nd Earl of Stradbroke a Suffolk family of many generations and entitled "Suffolk" at base of the print. Sold with the page of letterpress details about the man. Never been framed, good margins. Very good and ALL genuine. *He served in the Peninsula wars against Napoleon, joined the Guards at 16 and a devoted Conservative in his later years. Lord Lieutenant Vice-Admiral of Suffolk and voted for Catholic Emancipation. His descendant the son of the 6th Earl gave and sold the family possessions of Henham Hall in about 2003 and lives or lived in Australia.
