Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. Volume 6 is ex-library with marks present to the spine. Previous owner's notes present to the rear endpapers and pastedown of several volumes. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. This seven volume set covers naval operations from Feburary 1797 - December 1800, inclusive, during the quasi-war with France (1798-1801) , and contains much hitherto unpublished material concerning naval activity, together with related political and commercial matters. The same chronological arrangement of documents is followed as in the previous volumes in this series. EB.
