Complete in three parts in one physical volume: 43,[5],732,[16],269,[69] pp., "Editio sexta prodiit jam de novo in Germania", 20cm., contemporary full overlapping vellum (boards bit disformed, with few stains, some traces of use), engraved vignette on title page, text in Latin, some occasional foxing and browning (text always well readable), two contemporary autograph ex-libris on last blanco endpapers, Cfr. De Backer-Sommervogel VII col.1379 no.2, R96566.

Dvaci ( Douai ) , Ex Officina typographica Balthazaris Belleri , 1625, in-8°, (48) nn pp (including titlepage with printer's mark; Golden compasses) + 1040 pp + (48)nn pp (index), bound in contemporary vellum, traces of ties, manuscript title on spine. Some pp. very slightly browned but a fine copy. With manuscript ex-libris of ''Le Comte J.Bte. de Robiano - 1832''. Henri de Sommal S.J. ( Dinant 1534 - Valenciennes 1619) published in 1599 ( Ioannes Moretus in Antwerp) the ''Imitatio Christi'' by Thomas a Kempis based on the manuscript of St. James (Liège). The complete works of Thomas followed in 1601. This is the fourth edition. ( See De Backer Sommervogel vol. VII col. 1375-1378) . This edition of the Imitatio not mentioned in the catalogue Delaveau-Sordet.
