Hardcover. Etat : Good. tenth edition. 7 x 10 in. Originally with calf boards - the book clearly had wear when a practical Yankee sewed canvas over the binding. The title pg has a notation that the book belonged to Capt. George Gray of Surry (Maine), and other family members. Condition is GOOD ; the front joint is broken with old calf and covering pulled away from the spine, but the text binding remains soild. Canvas is toned with some faint spots, wear to corners and spine ends. Looks like the book went to sea many times - the text has dog-ears and chips to corners, spots and water stains, but is generally quite clean and fully readable. Naut. Stax.
