Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. Copyright edition. Temple Thurston (1879 - 1933) is perhaps better known as the spouse of the Irish writer, Katherine Cecil Thurston, but he enjoyed a rather scandalous reputation in his time. Divorced by his wife as he allegedly resented her greater fame and sales, the focus in his writing is often on the malevolent influence of the Catholic Church on Irish society. Standard Tauchnitz binding in with red leatherette spine and edgings. A clean, tightly bound copy.
