Cloth. Etat : Very Good. A Pastor's Address to Those Who Have Been Confirmed. [ca. 1850]. 56pp. A sweet little book which served as a certificate of Confirmation in the Episcopal Church. Stephen H. Tyng was a prominent New York Clergyman, who instituted social welfare programs in his church. Mulberry pebbled cloth titled in gilt. A.e.g. The record of a Confirmation in 1874 is filled in in ink, and another in 1995. Owner's name to endpaper. Light rubbing here and there to covers.
