Etat : Good. London to New York: N.P., 1933. Typed letter signed by A. J. Villiers, written aboard the United States Lines steamship American Farmer on a trip from London to New York, dated October 9, 1933. The letter, addressed to a Mr. Barrows, apologizes for a tardiness in response to a previous letter due mainly to a hospital stay, and provides advice about finding an opportunity to vacation aboard a cargo ship or barque. The letter is on the United States Lines stationery and consists of two pages folded from a single 8" x 10.75" sheet with the reverse side blank. There is some age-toning and wear along the top edge where the sheet extended from a book, otherwise in very good condition with a horizontal fold, signature boldly written in fountain pen ink. None. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
