Soft cover. Etat : Near Fine. First Edition. A unique item. Offered is an original letter dated January 3, 1952, written in fountain pen and signed by W. E. Frye, the magician for the magic act "The Frye Entertainers." A single-paged letter measuring 8-1/2" by 11", with mimeographed letterhead featuring a stage colored in blue and purple around its edges, with the heading "THE FRYE ENTERTAINERS PRESENT" to the upper edge area and "FAMOUS FOR FUN" to the lower edge area. Lacking a to and from address, the letter is written to a Mr. Hamilton and reads in full: "Jan. 3/52 - Dear Mr. Hamilton: Didn't get a Xmas card to you but I wish you a prosperous New Year. I want to tell you that the boy vanish is a big success. I appreciate very much your making it for me and I wouldn't part with it. Would like for you to write me the news from your territory. Got a big surprise - a Xmas card from Webb - address Mr. and Mrs. ["Mrs." is emphatically underlined twice] Van H. Webb - 4th St. Birmingham. Best wishes, WE Frye."
