It was formed in 1878 by Bernard Quaritch, and functioned continuously until around 1940. Members were notable men with a wide range of interests and each gathering was addressed by a member on some, usually arcane, subject.Each member had a club name ÔChroniclerÕ SalopianÕ ÕHorologerÕÕExaggerator Õetc., Slightly edgewear otherwise clean VG.
