This book was bought from the estate of H.R.H. Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester (1900-1974) the third son of King George V and Queen Mary. He served as Governor-General of Australia from 1945 to 1947. Signed presentation from the author and Lord Aberdare, chairman of N.A.B.C. to H.R.H. Prince Henry on the front endpaper, "To His Royal Highness, the Duke of Gloucester, President of the National Association of Boy's Clubs with the respects and compliments of the author W. McG. Eagar and of Aberdare,Chairman N.A.B.C." Very good indeed. Signedes.
