Soft cover. Etat : Near Fine. 1st Edition. A left-stapled transcript measuring 5-3/4" by 8-1/2" and containing 24 pages including front and rear covers. The transcript number, in order of telecast, was compiled and maintained by SECA commencing with the program's move to the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in 1971 although the number does not appear in the issue. This is the transcript of the Firing Line program taped at KCET in Los Angeles on July 24, 1973, and originally telecast on PBS on July 29, 1973. Hosted by William F. Buckley, Jr., the topic was "Was It Worth It?"; the guest was Rear Admiral Alan Shepard, Chief, Astronauts Office, NASA. The panelists were Helene Middleweek, English politician, Richard Ashcraft, Professor of Political Science at UCLA, and Francine Rabinovitz, Professor of Political Science at MIT.
