The blue boards have some soiling but the blue embossed ink image of a conestoga wagon train looks great. Very minor corner bumping to boards. Some foxing to page extremities but all pages inside are crisp, clean, and intact. Mylar protected DJ is 100% intact with $2.50 price. It is in good shape with some minor soiling edge wear and chipping. 390 pp 6" Wide x 8 1/2" Tall.

Illustrator Paul Gustin is known for large historical murals at the Smith Room, the old rare book room at the University of Washington's Suzzalo Library. First published privately in Seattle, 1931, and printed by Lowman and Hanford. This is the first trade edition. SMITH, 10786 (mistakenly credits publisher as Metropolitan). See SOLIDAY, IV, 653. Dust jacket is now protected in a clear, removable, archival sleeve. .
