Edition originale
Hardcover. Etat : Near Fine. First Edition thus. 1st Edition in Latin. 24 mo. [96], 621, [3 (blank)] pp. First word of title transliterated from Greek. Engraved title leaf. Folding plate. A lovely copy in contemporary vellum binding, small paper ownership label to base of spine and to front pastedown. Hegel famously said that Boehme was 'the first German philosopher." Though less known today than perhaps he should be, Boehme's influence covered a wide swath, and he had great impact across literature, as well as philosophy, from the 17th through the 19th century.
