Hardcover, fair to good. Corners bumped with cardboard exposed there, ¼ inch fraying at head and foot of faded spine, some soil on cloth, free endpapers torn out, front and rear hinges cracked, 3x3x2 inch piece torn off frontispiece, 4 inch tear there, numbers written (in pencil) on its reverse side, shaken, otherwise clean and unmarked.
