A cover letter from Klein, editor of TWILIGHT MAGAZINE, discussing terms in a contract (not present) "for the article, cover, etc." The letter was forwarded to Kirby McCauley, Wilson's literary agent with a brief note in Wilson's hand concerning crossing out clause #3: "Kirby -- I did -- G. W." Wilson contributed art and articles to TW, and served as the magazine's film critic. In the land of cartooning, down at the intersection of Funny Street, Fantasy Boulevard and Morbid Alley, Gahan Wilson has held forth with a more commanding presence than anyone else of the last two generations, with the possible exception of Gary Larson. Kirby McCauley was probably the most important literary agent of horror, fantasy and sf writers in the boom years of the 1970s and 1980s. Faint creases where folded for mailing, fine. (#102873).
