Original Wrappers. Etat : near Very Good binding. Complete collection of colored tipped-in plates showing the fantastic views from the Denver & Rio Grande-Western Pacific Railroad route. Signature of "F. S. Savage Sr." dated 1914 on the title page. Savage was a successful conductor on the B. A. & P. line, as well as a member of the Order of Railroad Conductors. His son tragically died in a railroading accident after following in his father's footsteps. Below Savage's signature is a gift inscription to his grandson. Oblong Octavo. Small closed tear to bottom spine, but binding sound. Complete, with last three plates and three pages showing a two inch tear to bottom edge. Otherwise plates show little wear. near Very Good binding.
