Tight hardcover in very good condition with good dustjacket. 16mo. 44pp. Cream boards and backstrip with full color illustration of Bush-Tail closing the door as Susie Squirrel is sweeping the floor inside with red & black lettering on the front board. Smaller color illustration of a forlorn Bush-Tail on the back board. Black lettering on the backstrip. Full-color illustrations throughout the book. Black & white illustrations on the endpapers. Book is clean & very tight. The front board has a little edgewear with bumped corners. The backboard has a little light soiling with a little edgewear & bumped corners. The backstrip has a little edgewear. The leaves are in very good condition with no markings. The dustjacket has some edgewear with two 1/4" closed tears along the top edge. The front flap's bottom corner is clipped. The outside of the dustjacket has some light soiling & light foxing. The inside of the dustjacket has some light foxing. Ships within 24 hours. The 'Prettimouse Series' were engaging stories and amusing with attractive colour illustrations. Each contained 44 pages. 17cms x 14cms. Printed on art paper bound in illustrated paper covered boards with full colour dust wrapper. this was the only title in the series to be illustrated by the talented equestrian artist Joan Wanklyn.
