It follows those discoveries which led to colonisation of Australia by the English and the maritime expeditions launched by the French and the English after colonisation which attempted to complete the mapping of his throwing coastline. No particular encounter all expedition has been dealt with in minute detail." -- Page 8. Following the account of each sighting or journey of exploration is a list of coastal features named by the expedition or in consequence to the sighting. These lists give the following information: -- date of gaming, the name given, reason for choice of name is known.
