Stories, some rather long, of Jewish dreamers, some of them famous (Spinoza etc.), others generally unknown. One of the longer stories, "The Master of the Name," concerns the Baal Shem Tov, a legendary wonder-working Rabbi of the eighteenth century, and recounts some of his supernatural feats. Cloth rubbed at edges, a very good copy. (#158663).
