First 4to, stiff wrappers. Unpaginated. 31 b/w illustrations, thumbnail artists' protraits, biographical and exhibition information. Exhibition September 8-19, 1959, inaugurating the Gallery's 28th season. The introductory essay by Baron highlights events of its preceding 27 years. Included in the exhibition were works by Burliuk, Cikovsky, Crichlow, Dobkin, Evergood, Gropper, Hirsch, Solman, M. Soyer, Sternberg and White, as well as other gallery artists whose careers spanned the Thirties, Forties and Fifties. Very good except for cover-edge browning.
