Previous owner's embossed seal on half-title page. A few pages have light handling smudges. Light moisture stain at bottom corner of last 200 pages. NO highlighting or other markings. Subscriber coupon for supplementary photo volume has been cut out of tipped in page following front endpaper. 500 pages. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.

Hbk half-leather over buckram square small 4to 500pp illustr portrait frontis with tissue-guard of Nicholas II, and many other maps, color portraits, b+w photos, and facsimile documents, repaired break to leather at the edge of the spine but gilt spine titles remain bright and legible, otherwise a very good clean crisp bright unmarked copy of this important documentary history of the Great War.
