Hardcover. First edition, not stated. 357 pgs., 8vo. A dual autobiography telling of the authors' part in the historic Albany Movement, a pioneering Georgia civil rights effort of the early 1960s. Well illustrated with photographs of the era. An important social history, apparently and oddly self-published, despite the wide appeal of the subject matter. This copy is SIGNED BY WILLIAM ANDERSON, with the added inscription "Yes we can !" Some binding cloth stains have transferred to the pastedowns, perhaps from manufacture, or later wetting. No harm to the book internally from this, stains cover an inch or 2 on each endsheet, at base. Very good condition in very good dust jacket, in a mylar protective wrap.
