Quarto, 2 volumes, original cloth, patterned endpapers, profusely illustrated with chromolithographic frontispieces and plates. In very good condition. Uncommon in this condition. Among other records, Deeds of Valor includes the stirring adventures of Admiral George Dewey, Commander W.D. Cushing, General Julius Stahl, General Arthur McArthur, Admiral D.D. Porter, and General Marion P. Maus.
