Sold here together is a nearly complete run of the first series of 50 issues of The Capilano Review, a much-respected journal of Canadian literature and poetry. Lacking only the double-issue 8/9 and Issue 47. All in at least very good condition. Includes the oversized Issue #31 which focused on Sound Poetry and includes the rare Sound Poetry record fetauring Bill Bissett, David Uu, Owen Sound and others. Record appears to be in near fine condition. Due to the weight and size of this grouping of magazines, postage will be quoted at cost.

A substantial run (17 of 21 issues, 1967-1978) of this Vancouver Olsonite little magazine. #2-13 (1967-1971); second series 1-[2]-3-5 (1975-1977); #21 (1977-1978). Lacking #1, #[14], #8/9, #20, #2/5, Many copies are in fine condition. Very limited printings. later issues 125 copies reportedly, earlier issues 'much less' (Michael Thompson). Locals (mainly SFU English Dept. affiliated) include Brian Fawcett, Ralph Maud, Sharon Thesen. Robin Blaser, Stan Persky, Neap Hoover, Brett Enemark, George Bowering, Colin Stuart, Gladys Hindmarch, Daphne Marlatt et al. Further-flung contributors include Jack Spicer, Robert Creeley, Charles Olson, Ezra Pound.
