The slipcases have slits on edges and other edge wear, otherwise in good condition. The books themselves have previous owners name stamp on inside front and back covers, otherwise in good condition with tight bindings, some nice illustrations and 547 pages. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

A reprint of the original 1814 edition written by Lewis and Clark. Includes 21*colour full-page plates and other illustrations within the text. lix+547pp. Bound in grey cloth with map illustrated paper covering the boards leaving the cloth showing to spine. All page edges are speckled. Each volume is contained within a red slip-case. The books are in very good condition with only a little sunning of the spines. The slip-cases have been heavily rubbed to corners, that for volume I is heavily scuffed to surface of tope with some paper peeling. Both slip-cases are scuffed from shelves to top and bottom edges (mainly lower edges). Books are heavy at 3.1kg, additional postage fee will be necessary.
