Edition originale
Leather Bound. Etat : Very Good +. First Edition, First Printing. pp. xiv, 305. Royal 8vo. 3/4 leather over gray cloth boards with gilt lettering, and rules to the spine. Black-and-white photographic frontispiece of the author. Light scuffing, fraying to spine ends and leather extremities. Internally, the contents remain remarkably bright, clean, and unmarked with tight, sound binding. Overall, a very well-preserved presentation of this most unusual title concerned with an examination of sleep from both a philosophical, and physiological lens. Exceedingly rare in commerce in the present leather binding, and in this condition. Bolton Hall (August 5, 1854 December 10, 1938) was an American lawyer, author, and Georgist activist who worked extensively on behalf of the poor, and is widely credited with starting the "back-to-the-land" movement in the United States at the beginning of the 20th century.
