Hardcover. Etat : Good. Three-quarter leather binding with marbled boards. Small area of insect damage near upper outer corner of front endpaper, diminished on first few leaves. Covers have slight wear to outer corners and light rubbing. Spine has a small split to the rear edge. Most pages are slightly foxed, but much more on some. Private owner's name written in at least four places, including front cover. ; Three issues bound together. February 1843: The Bible in Spain; or the Journeys, Adventures, and Imprisonments of an Englishman, in an Attempt to Circulate the Scriptures .by George Borrow, 110 pages. March 1843: The Zincali; or, An Account of the Gipsies of Spain .by George Borrow, 64 pages. October 1842: Chemistry in its Applications to Agriculture and Physiology by Justus Liebig, edited from the manuscript of the author, by Lyon Playfair, 63 pages.
