Bourne of London Hospital Medical College to Professor Marion Hines at Emory University, dated March 7th, 1957. ; Dr. Geoffrey Howard Bourne was an Australian-American anatomist and primatologist, specializing in the adrenal gland, and from 1962 to 1988 was the director of the Yerkes Regional Primate Research Center in Atlanta, Georgia, associated with Emory University. This letter attests to his connection prior to this with Dr. Marion Hines, Emory neurologist and primatologist, when the two are discussing the assembly of staff members for Yerkes. ; included is a photograph of a primate, probably from the Yerkes Primate Center, of unknown significance to the letter ; FINE.
