First Edition. Quarto. First printing. 196pp. An autobiographical tale of two boys, Hod and Joey, born and raised on an island off the coast of Maine. The story portrays Vinalhaven's booming years through the eyes of Hod, Joey and the author Ivan himself, for Ivan is as much a part of the legend as are others. Bound in green cloth lettered in gilt, one corner slightly bumped. A very nice copy in very good pictorial dust jacket with some fading and, light edge wear and small closed edge tear.
