Quarto. 302 pp. Illustrations. Printed dust jacket. Patterned cloth boards with blue leather title label to spine. Lacks publisher's slipcase, but housed in custom-made one. Dust jacket rubbed and creased along spine, with a dime-sized chip at head with no loss of text; small patch of staining to front. Previous owner's book review written in pencil along rear flap. Boards show light shelfwear and general rubbing. Binding is sound and pages unmarked. Slipcase worn along edges, but remains structurally sound.

Cellini's racily exaggerated memoirs in John Addington Symond's famous translation (at once floridly cosmopolitan and archly euphemized) with Symond's explanatory notes.

No previous owners' names or other markings. Pages bright and clean. A mixture of full color hors texte plates and black and white illustrations throughout. General wear to slipcase at edges and slight sunning to spine of book (see image). 442 pp. 7 x 9 3/4 inches.
