This small 8vo volume (8" by 9.25"), 37 pages, contains a 1-page editorial by Minor White, a 14-page Portfolio of 11 photographs by Brett Weston, a 3-page essay by S.K. Nandi ("Avanindranath Tagore's Concept of Aesthetic Universality"), a 4-page portfolio of photographs by Eugene Meatyard that accompanies a photo-illustrated (a total of 14 images) essay by Van Deren Coke ("The Photographs of Eugen Meatyard"), an open letter from Edward L. Gates responding to Paul Caponigro, and a section of Book Reviews. The striking cover photographs are by Van Deren Coke and Ansel Adams.
