Includes the very difficult time the Devons had during the German Offensives on the Western Front. 272pp., with newspaper photograph of the 13 survivors of Bois des Buttes, all named and published in 1928, neatly affixed to rear endpaper. Some minor blemishes and name dated 1928 on front endpaper, else very good condition.

Some foxing, particularly to early pages and rear endpapers, modest rubbing to head and tail of spine, else vgc in green cloth with red titling.
