Includes prefaces by both Conrad and Hueffer as well as an appendix not present in the U.S. edition. A tight very good copy in cloth boards with some offsetting to a couple of pages from a laid in publisher advertisement card. In a about fair dust jacket that has splitting at the edges and spine and some toning chips and wear.

Undated but the design dates it to circa 1914-18. An early example of Nelson's Library series. Corners bumped, binding cracked at front. 479pp plus a page of publisher's catalogue. Much less common in this binding. This was the second of Conrad's collaborations with Ford.
