Edition originale
First edition. 5 issues of the Avant-Garde magazine. With numerous graphic illustrations and photographic reproductions in each issue. Text in Catalan. [8]; [8]; [8]; [8]; [24] p. Five issues of the extremely scarce, richly illustrated Avant-Garde journal, Art. The magazine was published in ten issues between 1932-1934. According to the editors, it would better have been called "Anti-Art" as the articles often criticized traditional arts and introduced the modernist movements coming from Europe. The editor, Enric Crous-Vidal (1908-1987) was a cartoonist, typographer and graphic designer who was part of an Avant-Garde collective from Lleida. He became one of the most well-known Spanish typographers. Extremely scarce, Worldcat couldn't trace these issues in institutional holdings. . Folded. Light stains throughout. Leaf 5 and parts of leaf 3 and 4 of issue no. 9 are restored with facsimile. All issues restored. First edition. 5 issues of the Avant-Garde magazine. With numerous graphic illustrations and photographic reproductions in each issue. Text in Catalan.
