Vintage studio still photograph from the 1960 film. Extremely watchable trash, a big-budget film with lowdown agenda, and the last film in which Elizabeth Taylor, who won an Oscar for her performance, could have been accurately described as young and radiant. Something of an American answer to De Sica's "Madame De." with the object in question being a fur coat rather than a pair of earrings. Shot on location in New York. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with extensive annotations to the verso in red felt-tipped ink, blue ink, and manuscript graphite.

Manuscrit / Papier ancien
Collection of eight vintage studio still photographs from the 1960 film. Five with printed mimeo snipes on the verso. Loosely based on John O'Hara's 1935 novel. A promiscuous New York model falls in love with a married man following an illicit one-night stand. The most successful MGM release of 1960, well-received by most audiences, save actress Elizabeth Taylor herself, who called the film "Butterball Four" in private. Nevertheless, the film was nominated for two Academy Awards, winning Taylor her first Oscar for Best Actress. Set and shot on location in New York. 10 x 8 inches. Near Fine.
