Magazine / Périodique Edition originale
Magazine. 84p. including covers 8.5x11 inches, articles, features, reviews, listings, illustrated with b&w photos and ads, lightly worn, otherwise a very good semi-glossy entertainment magazine in lightly worn stapled pictorial wraps. Cover story on Keir Dullea and a special theatre issue, etc. The numbering of the volumes is illogical in the beginning years up to about 1971. "After Dark" was originally "Ballroom Dance Magazine" which ended with its volume 9, #4. The new magazine's first issue continued the numbering of the previous magazine and so issue #1 is stated as volume 10, #1. By the third year of the magazine they changed the numbering from volume 13 to volume 3, #9. A fine magazine of arts, stage, dance and music that bridged the gap between gay and straight readers in the 1970s-80s.

Four vintage black-and-white studio still photographs from the 1967 film. Based on D. H. Lawrence's 1922 novella of the same name. Mark Rydell's summer-of-love film was adapted from D.H. Lawrence's novella of the same name, about a lesbian couple living on a rural farm, whose existence is disrupted by the arrival of a seaman whose grandfather used to own the farm. One of only a handful of films to address the subject of lesbian life in the 1960s. Set in rural Canada, shot on location in Ontario, Canada. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus. Image FOX-58 is slightly creased with two pin holes to the top margin.

Draft script for the 1975 play, which premiered on April 7 at the John Golden Theatre in New York. Laid in with the script are several handwritten pages regarding promotional materials for the play. Also became the basis for the 2002 film directed by and starring Steve Guttenberg. After coming home to find a muscular Italian burglar in the process of robbing his apartment, a depressed young actor ties the burglar to his kitchen sink and attempts to torment the man, but finds himself forming an intensifying bond with his robber instead. Written by Kirkwood and published as a novel in 1972, then eventually produced for the stage in 1975 (the script on offer here), and for film in 2002. Set in New York. Red titled Studio Duplicating Service wrappers with credits for playwright James Kirkwood. Vintage reference photograph from the 1968 film, showing actor Kier Dullea. Printed mimeo snipe affixed to the verso. From the archive of film historian and author Joel Finler. Stanley Kubrick's sprawling, science fiction epic traces the evolution of human intelligence under the influence of an unspecified alien force. The film's high scientific accuracy, coupled with bleeding-edge special effects and minimal use of dialogue, make "2001" universally recognized as one of the most influential films ever made. Winner of an Academy Award for Best Special Effects, and nominated for three others including Best Director. Set variously in the desert, in space, in deep space, and on the astral plane. Shot on location in Scotland, England, Arizona, and Utah. 10 x 8 inches, with wide horizontal margins. Very Good plus, lightly worn at the top right corner. National Film Registry.
