"As Little-Big ('very little, but big, very big in our hearts') grew older, he learned many things. Chief Thundercloud taught him to see the wonders of the forest and to hear its sounds. Little-Big was happy except for one thing. He was lonely. He decided to look for a playmate. Where his search leads him is 'The Story of Little-Big'." A few scattered small finger marks and faint wrinkling on some pages, light edge wear to boards, small bumps to top corners, light soiling. Dust jacket is basically complete, but has tiny chips, tears up to 2 1/4" - archivally taped, browning, soiling, slight fading to spine color (lettering still very legible ), wrinkling, moderate edgewear, now protected in mylar sleeve.

Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. Etat de la jaquette : Very Good. Vee Guthrie (illustrateur). 1st Edition. The Story of Little-Big was written by Ernestine Cobern Beyer and illustrated by Vee Guthrie. The book was published by Reilly & Lee Company in 1962 and appears to be a First Edition though it's not specifically stated as such. It is NOT an ex-library book and the book is in very good + condition while the dust jacket is in very good condition. The book is 6 3/4" by 8 1/4" and has 48 pages with larger print and three-color illustrations on nearly every page. "The lilting timbre of Ernestine Beyer's prose makes this a story that pre-school children will enjoy having read to them - but it is so simply written that advanced first graders and second graders can read it by themselves." Thanks for looking!.
