Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Stated first edition. Copyright 1946. According to Harper's M-U datecode, this was actually printed in December of 1945. Originally published in Germany in 1925. This is the first US edition. Blue cloth boards have bright gilt lettering on spine. Front has a small circular sticker stain and rear has a tiny pale spot, otherwise covers are clean, and with minimal wear. Hinges are intact and binding is tight. There is an owner name and date (Jan 1946)on front pastedown, with no other markings in the book. A bit scarce in the first English language edition.
