Ajouter au panierGrundlagen zur praktischen Siedlungstätigkeit in Zusammenarbeit mit einer Reihe von Zeitgenossen - mit zahlreichen Textzeichnungen - EA., Obrosch., 257 S./Bl., 4to. - Aufgrund der PPWR-Verpackungsbestimmungen kein Versand nach Österreich. Gutkind war während des Ersten Weltkriegs Planungsberater für den Wiederaufbau in der Waffenstillstandskommission. Anschließend arbeitete er bis 1923 in der Sozialisierungskommission über die Neuregelung des Wohnungswesens im Status eines Dezernenten für Siedlungswesen und Stadtplanung im Reichswohlfahrtsministerium. Danach war er zehn Jahre lang als freier Architekt und Stadtplaner tätig, bis er 1933 nach Großbritannien emigrierte. Mit der Emigration endete seine aktive Tätigkeit als Architekt. Alle bislang bekannten Bauten von Gutkind befinden sich in Berlin. Hier entstanden in den Jahren 1923 und 1924 die Flachbausiedlung Neu-Jerusalem, Gebäude in der Heerstraße und am Nennhauser Damm in Berlin-Staaken. In den folgenden drei Jahren war er für den Bau der Wohnanlage "Am Eschengraben", für die Hardanger Straße 1-5, die Thulestraße 61 und die Tahlstraße 1-2a in Berlin verantwortlich. Zwischen 1925 und 1927 folgten die Wohnanlage Sonnenhof zwischen Marie-Curie-Allee, Delbrückstraße, Archenholdstraße und Bietzkestraße in Berlin-Lichtenberg. Es folgten bis 1932 die Grünlandsiedlung in Berlin-Reinickendorf (1927), der Pfahlerblock, ebenfalls in Berlin-Reinickendorf 1929 und die Inszenierung: "Sonne, Licht und Luft für Alle" als Ausstellung auf dem Messegelände Berlin 1932.
