Eight photographs are by the great Ansel Adams. Other serious contributors from the army of photographic and illustrative talent in this issue were: John Muir, David R. Brower, Marion R. Eight outstanding photographs by the great Ansel Adams, and at the rear there is a Cedric Wright trifold spread panorama of the Sierra Nevada from the vicinity of Independence. Besides Adams and Wright, other contributors from the posse of photographic and illustrative talent in this issue were: Roy Curtis, Frank Webb, Lewis F. Clark, Henry E. Timby, Hervey Voge, Hermann F.
