Hardcover. Volume 11 ONLY of 12 volume set. Limited, handmade edition, number 105 of 150 copies. Original half leather (spine and corners) , dyed a dark greenish-black on corners and margins of spine, but brown on spine itself, 5 raised bands, stamped gilt lettering and decorations on spine, top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed, approximately 6 x 9 inches, xxii + 337 pp, illustrated with eight plates (all present) by John Ward Dunsmore, four scenes, but two examples of each; four being typical of the times, but the other four apparently specially issued; the frontispiece is hand colored, the other three appear copper engraved. Hardcover, very good+. Corners bumped with a bit of cardboard exposed there, rubbed mainly along joints and bands, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked and apparently never read. A particularly nice edition! Literature; fine binding.
