Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. No Jacket. Part of the 12-Volume Marie Antoinette edition #370 of 600. I am missing a few volumes from the set so I'm offering the ones I have individually. Frontispiece of Marie Antoinette with tissue guard in front. It also includes an introduction by G. K. Fortescue, L.L.D., a preface by Mme. Campan, a prefatory memoir of Madame Campan by F. Barriere and notes of conversations with Madame Campan by M. Maigne. The book's hinges are secure and it does not suffer from spine-lean. Pages are mildly toned, clean, unmarked and undamaged. Very little soiling to exterior covers but they are discolored from sun exposure around the edges and on the spine (turned tan from lavender). Some of the lettering on the spine is faded. Some white rub or scrape marks on front and back covers. Light rub wear to edges, corner tips. No bumped corners. The book will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit.
