Condition: Good. 1st Edition. xxiii 432 pages, color frontis and 61 illustrations from photographs, text drawings and adverts mostly illustrated and sporting as well as dozens of ads for everything from fishing supplies to railway excursion lines in England and Canada, etc. Brown pictorial cloth with gilt title and leaping fish vignette to upper board, title and a mayfly to spine. Signed and inscribed in May, 1920 by the author. An odd bit of lined paper is pasted to the front fep which describes a casting technique. Thumb casting, ABC. Second edition stated. Top of spine cloth chipped into 'FLY', edges and spine sunned, all else, contents, VG+. And Inscribed. Book.
