Etat : Fair. 1895. No Edition Remarks. Unpaginated. No dust jacket. Quarter bound brown leather with gilt lettering. Sir Edwin Landseer & David Cox and Peter De Wint. Two titles in one, paginated separately: 116 & 120. Contains black and white illustrated plates. Pages are moderately tanned with light foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Moderate cracking to hinges and gutters, with exposed netting. Binding is quite loose. Former owner's inscription to front paste-down, with a sticker to free endpaper. Visible thumb-marking present throughout. Minor dog-eared corners and a few small nicks along text block edge. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Small splits to spine ends. Boards are noticeably bowed.
