Le pagine 257-258 sono omesse nella numerazione. Qualche glossa al frontespizio ed ad un contropiatto. Esemplare quasi perfetto. 18mo secolo.

Manifesto in folio aperto, cm 43x32, testo sui due colonne e scolia a margine, con capolettera e cornice silografica. Segni d?antica piegatura, e piccolo taglio all?estremità superiore di quella centrale, ma molto ben conservato, a pieni margini e in barbe. Rarissimo manifesto del canonico Pier Giacinto Gallizia, autore di numerose opere di carattere agiografico e di un volumetto di argomento affine a questo foglio, Breve Racconto del Tempio, e Badia di San Michele della Chiusa, apparso nel 1689 per lo stesso editore. Il sintetico testo, stampato in due colonne affiancate da scolia con indicazione delle fonti, ripercorre la storia della Sacra dai tempi di Ugone (Hugon de Montboissier, nel X secolo) sino alla fine del Seicento, narrandone costruzione e consacrazione, abati, vicissitudini, ordinamenti, reliquie; in calce al racconto l?autore nota la devozione tanto popolare quanto della nobiltà e degli stessi Duchi di Savoia, dei quali enumera le visite all?Abbazia malgrado la malagevolezza della strada, e l?incomodità del soggiorno. Nella sua Bibliografia Storica degli Stati della Monarchia di Savoia Manno (36279) enumera di questo foglio tre edizioni: la prima, dedicata a Giorgio Sclopis e stampata da Zappata, porta la data del 1713; questa nostra seconda, senza data, è seguita da una terza edizione del 1729, per i tipi del Mairesse. Un solo esemplare in ICCU/OCLC, alla Nazionale di Roma. Segni d?antica piegatura, e piccolo taglio all?estremità superiore di quella centrale, ma molto ben conservato, a pieni margini e in barbe.
