(Index mentioned in title most likely in vol. VI.) --- In full brown cloth-covered boards with titling in gilt to cover and spine; top edge gilt. Volume lacks a dust jacket. --- Title page with tears to edges, dampstains to textblock corners, chafing to cloth edges, prior owner's signature and inkstain to front endpapers, otherwise a sound copy, though rather brittle.; 12mo - 7 to 7-1/2 in. tall; liii, 590 pages.

Interior texts have yellowed with age, some shadowing and discoloration from age. Ex-library with catalog markings at the foot of the spines, book plates fep, little other markings. Endpapers are shadowed and foxed. Due to the size of the set, it will require additional shipping.
