Quinze jours au Sinaï (Première éd.: Paris, Drumot, 1839 sous le titre "Nouvelles impressions de voyage: Quinze jours au Sinaï, par A. Dumas et A. Dauzats). Adrien Dauzats (1804-1868), fidèle ami de Dumas, peintre et grand voyageur, accomplit un voyage au Sinaï en 1830 avec Isidore Taylor, dit Baron Taylor, Commissaire royal près le Théâtre français de 1825 à 1840, et un certain M. Mayer; il confia ses notes à Dumas pour qu'il les mette en oeuvre en vue de la publication. 2. L'Arabie Heureuse, Souvenirs de voyages en Afrique et en Asie (Première éd.: 1860). Hardcover. Etat : Good. No Jacket. Gordon Browne (illustrateur). No date of publication given. Includes three novels/novellas: The Castle of Eppstein, Acte and Jacquot. Book is a little cocked toward the fore-edge and spine is cracked at the rear although the text block remains firmly bound in. Pages clean and undamaged but tanned from age. Moderate soiling with some additional spots on the exterior covers and spine. Three corner tips are turned in a bit at the tip. Rub wear to top and bottom edges of spine, seams, with boards showing at tips of corners. Top edge of spine is a bit frayed. Will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit.
