Endpapers slightly foxed. Illustrated with 247 images of stamps in b/w. Green cloth boards lettered in gilt at front and spine. Boards scuffed, edges rubbed, corners bumped, spine top and tail rubbed. Joints and hinges good, binding firm.

Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. Etat de la jaquette : No d/j. B/w plates (illustrateur). 1st Edition. Very good to inside with no inscriptions. The inside front and back board and opposite page has slight foxing. All plates are present and there is an Appendix entitled "Description of Plates". Also a Bibliography and List of Philatelic Societies. Appendum and Index. The green boards have slight wear to top and bottom of spine and very slight to corners. Gilt title and authors to top front and gilt small illustration to bottom front left corner. All in remarkably good condition.
